We are currently finalizing architectural plans for Buddhafield Sanctuary, the North American seat of H.E. Shyalpa Rinpoche and an authentic source for the liberating teachings of Tibetan Buddhism.

The site consists of 40 plus acres of steep elevated hilltop with predominantly eastern views. The building will be constructed with minimal ecological impact, while at the same time being practical and functional.

The overall impression of the sanctuary will be of a dance in space. The qualities manifested will be clarity, awareness, and luminosity. There will be balance and equanimity in function, a natural flow, and an invocation of the spontaneously creative inner teacher.

The keynote is “The Building as Bodhisattva.” The highlight is to be a stylized gold finial. The view is to be “The Vast Expanse.” The message is to be “Skillful Means.” The result is to be “Liberation through Seeing.”
